We have been able to configure and design our brand new practice to ensure the best of care through the most efficient use of space.

With plenty of easy parking, disabled access, light and spacious waiting areas and consultation rooms, our practice offers you, and your pet, a truly hassle-free visit.

Additionally, all our surgical and prep spaces are large and purpose-built for effective treatment and maintaining hygienic conditions.

Kennels

  • Two bright and airy walk-in kennels with glass doors, to ensure dogs feel happy and not enclosed, and ease of cleaning for infection control 

  • 6 stainless steel cages for smaller canines 

  • Walk-in shower cubicle, with a long shower hose which provides the perfect temperature when washing your dog

  • Storage for beds, blankets, food and bowls under the contained sink unit 

 

Cattery

  • 6 cattery cages, with glass fronts, reducing patient stress and spread of diseases

  • Cattery cages can be made up to the need of the individual feline patient

  • Located away from kennels ensuring noise and stress are kept to a minimum 

Imaging suite

  • Top-of-the-range digital radiography machine with instantaneous image display after exposure 

  • Adjustable Bucky table ensuring movement and disruption of patients are reduced 

  • Anaesthetic machine for maintaining patients under anaesthesia.

 

Isolation areas

  • Two separate stainless steel cages in an area away from kennels and cattery, low footfall ensures any potentially infectious cases are kept isolated

  • Specific bowls, bedding, monitoring equipment, PPE and cleaning disinfectant are kept within this area so cross-contamination doesn’t occur 

 

Dog garden

  • Safe, contained and secure outdoor dog area to aid with post-operative recuperation

Waiting room

  • Separate cat / quiet waiting area 

  • Information notice boards  

Consult rooms

  • A room designated for sensitive consultations where the owners can exit via a side door

  • Mechanical table for ease of getting less agile patients elevated and examined 

Prep room

  • Mechanical table for ease of getting less agile patients elevated.

  • Anaesthetic machine for pre-operative treatment of patients 

  • Separate sterile area for the vet to surgically scrub 

  • Quiet and separate, away from kennels so patients aren’t distressed or distracted 

Lab & Dental Room

  • Top of the range in-house laboratory equipment. Including; biochemistry, haematology, urinalysis, and cytology

  • Dental equipment with ultrasonic scaler and a high-powered drill

  • Dental tub table, perfect for dentals and grooming larger patients

  • 2 autoclaves for high-speed sterilisation of surgical equipment and instruments 

Theatre

  • Minimalistic design keeping sterility as our highest priority 

  • Anaesthetic machine, using an oxygen generator, keeping the practice environmentally friendly 

  • LigaSure - this piece of equipment uses a combination of pressure and continuous bipolar energy to create vessel fusion. It seals the vessels, cuts tissue and dissects tissue planes 

  • Fatigue minimising mats to help keep our vets and nurses comfortable during long surgical procedures
